Hand Luggage - What to pack?

With it being holiday season I thought I'd share with you all what I'll be taking in my hand luggage on holiday and hopefully some of you will find this useful either now or sometime in the near future!

First off, grab a medium sized bag that you'll be able to take on the plane, on the train, or even in the car. I've chosen this red floral one I picked up in the Accessorise sale because it's a good size and not too heavy.

So What is in my hand luggage?

- Passport
- Any tickets/holiday bookings & papers
- Purse/Wallet
- 24hour Lipsticks - always handy on long journeys
- Tangle Teaser
- Compact Mirror
- A trusty book (I have Northanger Abbey)
- My bikini (in case I want to head straight to the pool!)
- Sunglasses
- My Watch
- Headphones & Mobile
- Hair clips & bobbles
- Contacts Case
- Any other makeup items (remember they should all be under 100ml though!)

And there we have it! I'm all packed up!

Although I did just get back from Prague, ever since then I've been working full time and the shifts weren't the best (5am starts!) but now i've finished, it'll be nice to just chill away from home with my family.

I hope you're all having a fabulous break despite the ever-changing British weather, hopefully you've had time to kick back and relax!

My Trip to Prague!

If you been following me on Twitter or Instagram, you'll know that I recently took a short holiday to Prague in the Czech Republic with my cousin, Jessica.

It was a first for the both of us having never been anywhere near Prague but it was without a doubt a fabulous trip despite the unexpected heatwave!

Here I'll show you a few pictures from each day and I'll briefly describe what we got up to each day. So grab a cuppa, (maybe some cake too) and enjoy!

Day 1 - 2 hour Walking tour around the old town square. Snapping pictures. Getting lost... a lot! And then after dinner we went down to see The Dancing House.

Day 2 - Exploring the Jewish quarter and Wenceslas Square. Hard Rock Café for dinner. Then getting fined on the metro for not stamping our ticket!

Day 3 - Prague Castle and the surrounding Gardens. We even popped into a toy museum where there was an entire floor dedicated to Barbie! After lunch we went to Prague's Madame Tussauds followed by a visit to to The Charles Bridge and The John Lennon Wall!

Day 4 - Prague Traha Zoo. Dinner in the square (where I had the most delicious Caesar salad of my life.)  And then we spent the evening on a pedal boat near Charles bridge watching the sunset: a perfect ending to our trip!

So I hope you enjoyed this short insight to our little cultural voyage! If you've ever been before do let me know what you got up to, or if you blogged about it send me your link!

Until next time my lovelies,

Oh, Mr Darcy!

I'd originally planned this to just be a book-related post, as it's my summer mission to read as many Jane Austen classics as possible since I loved Pride and Prejudice so much. But then, yesterday, I was shopping for a light taupe nail varnish and I came across one with the name 'Oh, Mr Darcy!' and as a true Austen fan, I had to have it.
Rings - Accesorize & H&M

And it turned out to be a lovely colour! It is from Rimmel's Salon Pro range, in the shade 125. I picked it up for my holiday, as it's a very versatile colour that will match almost everything. Speaking of holiday, I've only 4 days to go until I'm in the beautiful city of Prague - how exciting!

I'm planning on taking Northanger Abbey with me to read on the plane. I've already started it and I'm loving it so far! Have you read any Austen classics? What's your favourite?

If you think you'd be interested in a 'What I got up to in Prague' or a 'What I Wore in Prague' sorta post, please let me know!
