L'Oréal EverStrong Conditioner Review

Hey dolls!

I just to share with you my current miracle product as I absolutely adore it!

It’s the L’oréal EverStrong Conditioner and I have to say it’s by far one of the best I’ve tried – and that’s saying something as I've tried a fair few, and I’m quite fond of my usual Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends one.

Details:

The conditioner comes in a lovely green colour which fades to white at the bottom, it was because I liked the look of it that I picked it up. It revitalises and basically heals you hair – with visible and touchable affects just after one use.*

*: I’m not saying that after one wash that you’ll have Rapunzel worthy locks, but this does a pretty good job making your hair feel healthier and silkier – which is brill in my books!

Note: I have quite thin hair that tends to go frizzy quite easily, but this tames the frizz (score!) Honestly, you just have to try it out for yourself because I can’t express how lovely it leaves my hair feeling and looking and I want to share this with you guys!

The only negative point I have on it is that the bottle isn’t the best shape, as it’s quite slippy so when your hands are wet in the shower it can be a tad harder than I’d like to get the product out – but I guess I can deal with that since it leaves my hair feeling very happy.

Have you tried this product? If you do, let me know how you get on! And if you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me – either on Twitter @roseanne_sophia or right here!

See you soon!

October Favourites

This month has been pretty intense for me. It’s crazy to think that I’ve been a university student for over a month – it’s gone so fast but at the same time I feel like I’ve been here forever.

I’m finally getting into the routine of things. As it took me a while to settle in to the timetabling as mine isn’t the best due to the fact I’ve taken an additional French module – but enough of that! You don’t need to hear my winging!

I thought I’d share with you some photos of what I’ve been getting up to over the last month as I really have been super busy!

Netball
Upon starting university, I knew that I really wanted to join the netball team. I’ve been playing since I was 10, and it’s just become the norm. I love it and it’s a really good way to have fun whilst keeping fit.

Honestly, I think joining netball was the best decision I’ve made so far since moving here, as the sessions are really enjoyable – though I’m always knackered after them. And I’ve made some really good friends through it – I’m really looking forward to the Wednesday night outs for the sports clubs because the girls I’ve met all seem lovely. We’ve already been on two trips away together, one to York for a varsity and one to Leeds – so we’re all really comfortable with each other already - it’s great!
Baking

I’ve always been a keen baker but I’ve never really had the chance to bake/cook myself as living at home with 5 others you basically had to book out the kitchen if you wanted to use it because ours isn’t the best layout. But here in halls, I still share with 5 others, but three tend to go home on the weekends and one works, so I basically have the kitchen to myself if needs be, which I have been taking mighty advantage of! So far I’ve made scones, a Victoria sponge, pancakes and cupcakes (which my flatmates call ‘buns’ – weird right?)

Layering

Living up ‘north’ has its perks! The cold wind is almost unbearable some days here, especially having to walk across the Wear Bridge every day, so layering up is a must. I’ve really enjoyed picking out my favourite pieces and layering them up to keep me nice and snug on my walk to uni.

Working

I’ve had quite a bit of work to do too, with weekly homework’s, French work and two big assignments due at the end of this month – I’ve been up to my knees in work. And to top it all off my laptop has decided to say ‘au revoir’ and break down. So I’m in the process of getting a new one but I’m trying to put it off as the thought of spending that much money in one go scares me!

Exploring

My flatmates and I have made the most of living in a new town and often go exploring around the city. This week we found another cute tea room which was absolutely adorable; and a cute vintage shop! Then last Sunday we e went to the 'Sunderland Illuminations' show at Roker park by the beach, where there was an amazing lights show of Alice in Wonderland themed characters and items - the toadstools were my favourite!

What have you been up to this month? Be sure to let me know in the comments below, or leave me a link to your blog as I'm always on the lookout for new bloggers to follow!

Fall In Love Tag

Good Afternoon my loves, I hope you’re all well! I’ve finally gotten round to getting a blog post up (hooray!) as I’ve been having trouble with my laptop which seems to hate me at the moment. But no matter, I found a way to get something new up for you! After all, what are university libraries for?

With all that aside, I shall get on with le blogging. The lovely Emma from ImagineLaceDragons tagged me to do the ‘Fall In Love’ tag, and with it being fall and all I thought I’d give it a go . . .

What is your favourite fall scent?
Hmmm…. I’d have to say that fresh air kinda scent – if you get my drift? You know when it’s nice and chilly, you’re wrapped up in all your layers and the wind blows all the leaves towards you and it’s so refreshing and sweet. No? Just me? Ok.

But as for perfume, I’m loving J’adore Dior at the moment.

What is your favourite fall drink?
Most would expect me to say tea here, as I’m a tea-a-holic but I basically drink tea 364 days out of the year, so I’m going to go with Hot Chocolate – with cream of course, as it's so heartwarming when you come in from the cold.

What fall trend are you most excited about?
The cape. We’ve seen it on the catwalks, on Cara and SJP (you all know the one I’m talking about - the Burberry one - yeah you got it.) I’m just so excited to see the high streets take on it, particularly Zara as they never fail to amaze me. I’ve got my eye out for a woollen burgundy one, so if you see one, let me know!

What is your favourite fall beauty product?
Totally opposite to Emma’s, but I’ve got to say dark lipsticks. Don’t you just think that vampy lipstick can transform your look within seconds? You just can’t go wrong with a good ol’rouge à lèvres. Which lippys are you loving this month?

What is your fall guilty pleasure?
Easy. Hands down, woolly pyjamas. I could just wear them all day, they’re so cosy and comfortable you just can’t complain.

My auntie got me the most beautiful set from George at Asda (see here) and I’ve literally been living in them for the past month – I wash them don’t worry – as the weather ‘up north*’ is a bit chillier than I’m used to.

*It feels so weird saying ‘up north’ - I'm still not used to it!

What do you like to do most in fall?
Bake! I love to bake normally, but never really make time, but since I moved to university, I’ve been loving it. So far, I’ve only made scones but my flatmates sure enjoyed them! I think cupcakes are next on the list along with mars bar cakes – yummy!

What is your favourite fall song?
'Wonderwall' - Oasis or ‘Where The Wind Blows’ – Coco O. Of Quadron .

What is your favourite fall food?

I’d have to agree with Em on this and say Soup and Lasagne. But not together of course!

What is your favourite fall holiday?
Well I think there’s only Halloween and Bonfire Night to choose from, so I’d have to say Halloween. It’s fun to dress up once in a while and just go all out. But as for bonfire night, my family and I have never done anything too special, just the odd sparkler or firework here and there, although I do enjoy staying up and sitting on the balcony watching the firework displays.

I’d like to invite Megan, Hannah and Victoria to do this post! Do be sure to check out their blogs, as they're my faves (!) as well as ImagineLaceDragons!
Feel free to answer some of these questions in the comments below, or let me know what you think of my answers, I love hearing from you!
Lots of Love,

Cut-Out Roses

Why hello there my lovelies!

I hope you’re all well and getting back into the school/uni/work routine. For me, this was a bit harder than usual this year as I’ve never been to uni before (shocker) or been this far away from home and my friends (sob!). So it’s been taking a little getting used to. Luckily for me, my flatmates are all such cuties, and we've all become really close.

On Friday we went all out for a night on the town, and being freshers we made the most of it and had a great night.

Here is my outfit of the night, which I really enjoyed putting together. I got the kimono a few weeks ago in New Look whilst there was 20 per cent off for students so it came to something like £9 – bargain!

Dress – Topshop
Kimono – New Look Teens (ssh!)
Clutch – John Lewis
Heels – New Look
Parfum – J’adore Dior
Lipstick - GOSH 'Burgundy'

I paired the kimono with my trusty black cut-out dress, which I absolutely adore, black tights and killer platforms.
