Divine Designs

I have been meaning to blog about this for a while, and you will soon see why! This is Dolce&Gabbana’s Fall 2013 Collection. . .

The Designers’ inspiration for this divine collection was the golden mosaics in Sicily's Cathedral of Monreale. Featuring at least a dozen dresses incorporating Byzantine and Venetian famous mosaics.

In terms of skill and dress-making, D&G have really done themselves proud, the intricate beadwork on every single look is down to a T! The collection was entitled ‘Lavish Opulence’ but does that cover all the golden embroidery?

Elle Collections “AMEN TO ALL THINGS DOLCE.”

Basically I just wanted to share with you this beautiful collection, so that you may admire it with awe as I do! Here are a few more pictures of my favourite look, embroidered with sequins and crystal stones…

Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!

Satchel Royale

Personally I love satchels and dream of being the proud owner of a Cambridge satchel one day. They are so quaint and simple, who wouldn't want one?! They come in every colour – one for every mood (and outfit!) if you like!

But here is a low-down of all the satchels on sale at the moment and that I have my eye on, as I have seen them creeping back in over the past few weeks!

Cambridge Satchels range from £95 to £130, and come in a variety of colours; this one is the ‘original’ - my favourite!
'Original' Cambridge Satchel
This next satchel is named ‘Morrison’ which you can find on justfab.com, at £35 (bags and shoes!) but once you become a member, you can get your first order for only £17.50, so get to it ladies! I just love the pastel colours on satchels don't you?

'Morrison' at Justfab.com

I was pleasantly surprised to see such a range of Satchels in Topshop this summer, as normally I’m not such a fan of their bags because there isn’t that much in my Topshop. But these two are just lovely aren’t they? The first is the ‘Arthur’ schoolgirl satchel and the second is a ‘large edge paint satchel’ in a pastel grey with baby pink edging it’s so cute, and at £34 you can’t go wrong!

Left: 'Arthur Satchel' £35,
Right: 'Edge paint satchel' £34
Both Topshop

Urban Outfitters also have their own selection of satchels, my favourite being these two, both with vintage styling and a perfect accessory throughout the upcoming A/W season.

Right:'Tan punched satchel' £38
Left: '
Deena & Ozzy Roll Top satchel' £38
Both Urban Outfitters

And that’s it! Hope you enjoyed this satchel-tastic post! (See what I did there!) Let me know if you see any other satchels you think I might like or if you enjoyed this post at all!

See you next time!

Get the look - for less!

A few days ago my 'Jack Wills Catalogue' was delivered, and there are so many looks that I absolutely adore! But they are extremely expensive (sigh!) so I thought I would blog on how to get my favourite look - for less!

Look 1: Layer it up!

This look is my favourite from the look book, but comes in at a mind boggling £386.50 and that’s not even including the bag or shoes! But here are some alternatives to get this look for less:

Tweed Blazer -
£50 ASOS Marketplace
  Navy Parka -
ASOS £65
Black Skinny Jeans
- £9.99 New look
Chambray Shirt-
£19.99 H&M

This look comes in at a mere £144, less than half of the original look – and you have some great pieces that you can style up and wear all year round (I mean - what doesn't go with black jeans??).

I love this look for a young student style and layering things up is perfect for the upcoming Autumn/Winter season.

If you have any other looks you want me to recreate or you think that I’d like, let me know! I’d love to hear from you!

Hope you enjoyed this get the look!

Nails, nails and more nails!

First of all, I am so sorry I haven’t posted in a while! Last week I was just so nervous about Results Day - I totally forgot, and then ... I went and lost my phone in town didn't I? So let’s just say it hasn't been a great week for me! But no fear, I am back, and post I shall...

When I am bored the first thing I will always do is my nails, I have quite the collection of nail varnishes which take up a whole drawer in my bedroom!
Recently, I have experimented with nail art, cute little designs on my nails from minions to kites - I got slightly carried away, but it is so much fun! I was actually amazed how easy some patterns are to do.

So here’s a few pictures to show you what I got up to…

I absolutely love this Kites design^
You can achieve this with Barry M 'Blue Moon' and a little creativity with black eyeliner! (But don't forget the topcoat!)
I did this french flag design ^ on my nails especially for my french exam hoping it would give me luck!
This design is my favourite, as it will always work with every colour - and who doesn't love flowers? For this design I used 'Barry M Gelly Blackberry', 'NYC sidewalkers' and 'LA Colours nail art pen' for the white petals.

For more pictures of  my nail art see my Instagram page (ALL_THINGS_ROSY), I'm sure to post more soon!

I also have more to share with you! One of my best friends Megan, is absolutely amazing at nail art :-) so here's a few of her pics that you are welcome to be jealous of, and use as inspiration...

How cute are they though?!^^
I am honestly so jealous of her cath kidston worthy, floral nails and the owls are soo cute!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

À bientôt!

My Wishlist!

It's August already! Can you believe it? But I have been doing my bit of window shopping since I don't get paid for another 3 weeks :-( So to pass the time I thought I’d share with you a few items on my wish list!

I really really need a new purse as my trusty Cath Kidston wallet is falling apart (after 6 years) but her purses are so cute and long-lasting so here is the Garden Birds new wallets; I haven't decided which one I want yet, maybe you can help me decide?

Sixth Form will start again before I know it, and our uniform is grey/black/white smart-casual. I saw this blazer in Next and I loove it (hopefully I'll get away with it!) It is £32 though, so it’s quite a lot but I can save for it :-)

Topshop jewellery never really did much for me, normally I shop at accesorize, vintage shops  or urban outfitters but I found a beautiful letter 'R' watch with a black leather strap at only £16.50! (Comes in all letters) It is such a bargain! I remember one like this from ASOS but they ran out really fast and I missed out - so with hope, they'll still have it after payday!(Sorry about the bad photo!)

There are always at least 4 books on my wish list so here's a little collage of a few of them!

Whats on your wishlist? I'd love to know!

I hope you're all having a lovely Tuesday!
